There's currently a ginormous ridge of high pressure over most of the eastern US, giving us these delightful, albeit, Al Gore-esque temperatures. The ridge will slowly move eastward over the next 24 hrs. Temperatures will go down a bit in the evening and overnight hours... it is fairly dry so once the sun goes down the temperatures will as well. I'm going to say evening temps around 60 dipping to a low of 48 by morning.
Tomorrow should be a virtual clone of today. Maybe not quite as warm but still very nice and sunny. High pressure is still the man, but a cold front is approaching. Temps will warm up pretty quick and I'm going for highs in the mid 70s throughout the afternoon with a nice southerly breeze; let's say 5-10 mph. Evening temperatures will again drop off into the low 60's but we may see some clouds roll in as the front approaches. . . see, isn't this easy?
Evening: Clear; low 60s; light N winds.
Overnight: Clear; Low: 48; light E winds.
Tomorrow: Sunny; High 76; SE winds 5-10 mph.

Lovely! My mum at home loves looking into NY weather, if you included the temps in celcius I'm sure you'd get a hit a day from her in NZ.
P.S. also she's coming over last week in May so I'll probably be asking for a long range weather update closer to the time!
Thanks :)
