First Remote Forecast

I've been requested by readers of Samcast to make weekend forecasts for Seattle and Madison.  While I will not be able to make forecasts for everyone who requests them, the two individuals that requested them have offered me compensation.  One of my friends has promised to promote me on her blog and the other, my wife, made me guac tonight.  With that said:

Seattle:  It looks like Seattle should be nice this weekend.  Saturday looks ok, although rain is a bit more likely on Sunday and Monday as some good ol' Pacific moisture rolls in.  I know I know, I'm really going out on a limb forecasting rain in Seattle.  Temps ok, highs in the 60s lows in the 40s.  Let me know how I do!

Madison:  While NY might have given me an easy forecast, Madison gave me an almost unpossible one.  All sorts of mid-level shenanigans and unruly jet-streaks and whatnot.  It all boils down to this. . . I'm really not sure.  Usually when I'm really not sure I go to the NWS local forecast and see if they can give me any insight.  You know what they said for this weekend?  30% of rain.  Come on!!!  Basically that is the official way for a meteorologist to say "umm... yeah".  Well, I'm going to do better than that.  I'm going to say it IS going to rain, sorry Mags.  None of this 30% crap.  Hopefully it will hold off until Sunday but don't get your hopes up.  Highs around 50 and lows in the mid 30s.

Thanks Sammy. I'll pack an umbrella- or just run fast between State Street bars- I'm sure it won't be hard to find an establishment to duck into no matter where we are :)

Since it's still snowing here (whatever happened to global warming?) would you mind forecasting Alaska some motherlovin' sunshine?!
